Architecture

Unidirectional Communication

The bulk messages are delivered by the issuer to SIX via the MQ channel, which is strictly one-way. No direct response is expected or received through this channel. However, the bulk operations will trigger card lifecycle events which the issuer can receive as push notification via debiX PUSH.

For direct two-way interactions or follow-up actions, issuers should use the debiX API.

Flow tracing

Each bulk message may provide an unique issuer trace identifier in the message envelope to correlate the complete flow started by this message.

If provided in the message, the issuer trace identifier

  • is passed as refNoBank in Worldline DEBOL XML requests and will appear in the DEBOL journal,
  • from September 2026 onward, will be included in the event envelope of every debiX PUSH message triggered by this request.

MQ Setup

All bulk messages are delivered through a single queue to SIX.
